Sophie is a Canadian actress and singer. She has two brothers, Zachary and Gareth Bennett, and a sister Marion, who are all involved in the performing arts.
Sophie developed a love for performing at an early age. Her first acting job was a baby shampoo commercial. As well as singing and acting, the young Sophie was involved in many sporting activities including soccer, surfing, snowboarding, equestrian, basketball and track.
In 2000, Sophie moved to Australia for six months after recieving a lead role in the hit television show "The Saddle Club". Two years later, a second season was filmed followed by the live arena show in Sydney in 2004.
In 2005, Sophie signed on Shock Records with "Saddle Club" co-star Kia Luby to make 2 CDs and 2 CD singles, which were also huge successes. In 2004, Sophie bought her own horse named Jezz.
